ALARM SYSTEM
Even though the property is in a low crime affected area, we recommend that you use the alarm for your complete peace of mind.
Here is a quick guide…
When leaving the premises and the property is empty, you will arm and disarm the property via the remote. The BROWN button on the remote sets and disarms the alarm when you both arrive and leave the property. Please ensure that all the sliding doors and windows are secured and locked before leaving the property.
To arm at night, simply either use the remote and press the BROWN button or punch in 0202 into one of the alarm keypads located around the property. To disarm, just punch in the code again or press the BROWN button on the remote.
Should the alarm activate, ADT, the armed response will call and/or visit the property. To cancel the response service, provide them with the password which is ‘holidays’
INTERCOM/ KEYPAD
There are 3 keypads in the house. One at the main front entrance door, one in the upstairs master bedroom and one downstairs in the entertainment lounge. Should the phone ring, simply pick up the receiver and press the green phone icon if you wish to talk. If you press the blue key icon, the pedestrian gate will unlock. To end the call, press the red icon.
REFUSE AND RECYCLING
Please separate general waste (black bin liners) and recycling (clear bags). Recycling does not need to be separated, but does need to be clean – please place all clean bottles (plastic or glass), cans, tins, cardboard, paper and plastic in the clear bags and place next to the dustbin. The large black municipal bin is in the area outside the scullery door. Bin collection day is on a TUESDAY. Please ensure that the bin is put outside for collection. Once the bin has been emptied, would you kindly bring it back onto the property once the refuse chaps have emptied it?
NB There is a separate small black bin for Nespresso pods next to the Nespresso machine which are returned to the store by us once it is full.
OUTDOOR FURNITURE AND CUSHIONS/UMBRELLAS
We want you to relax and enjoy your stay, but these items will need to be put away when not in use. Kindly bring them inside when rain is forecast or if it is windy as the cushions may be blown away in windy conditions. There is a storage room in the garage where the cushions can be stored.
TERRACE AWNING
The remote to open and retract the awning is in the top left drawer under the Nespresso machine. Although there is an automated retracting mechanism in place, should it become windy whilst you are on the property, please retract the awning and do not leave it extended if you are going out at all.
POOL AND GARDEN SERVICE
Pool Guru will come to the house twice a month to attend to the pool. You do not need to be at the property for either of these services.
TOWELS AND LINEN
*Beach/pool towels have been provided. Please do not remove the bathroom towels from the property. Please also be aware of staining on linen and towels, particularly from make-up and self- tanning lotions.
*NB: Damage to linen and towels, will be charged for.
SMOKING
Please note that smoking is NOT permitted inside the villa at all. Should you wish to smoke outside however, please ensure that any cigarette ends are disposed of accordingly.
