Beach Music Villa Guest Information

Welcome to Beach Music.

The owners Mike and Wendy, along with myself, wish for you to have a wonderful stay and have provided some information below to make it as relaxing and pleasant as possible.

Parking

The driveway is shared with the cottage, however there should be more than sufficient parking for 2 vehicles per house.  Please park to the left as you enter the driveway and allow reversing space from the garage for the cottage guests.

Security

For both insurance purposes and your peace of mind, please ensure you set the alarm when leaving the property, and at night when you retire to bed.

When leaving the property, please ensure all doors and windows are closed.  You will need to leave the house via the front door by the funicular lift.  In order to set the alarm, close the front door and the panel will show a green “ready” light.  Press and hold the “empty house” button.  You will then have about 60 seconds to leave the house via the front door. 

To set the alarm at night, pleasure ensure windows and doors are closed.  In this case you will press the button with the “man in the house”.  This will arm the windows/doors and outside beams, but you will be able to move around freely within the house.

To de-activate the alarm in either of the above scenarios, enter the code 7836.

Should the alarm be activated, a signal will be sent to ADT.  They will call the house phone.  They will ask for the password to confirm that all is in order and to cancel the armed response, or if there is a problem.  The password is HOLIDAYS.

In the event that they cannot reach either you or myself, they will send an ADT control car to the property.  The guards have access to the property and can carry out a perimeter check.  They do not have access to the interior of the property.

In the event that you are concerned, you can call the ADT Control car on 083 680 2594 or the control room on 0860 100911.

Wifi

There is Wifi available for your convenience.  There are internet connections under MAIN HOUSE and the password is Dolphin1.  There are boosters which allow for access throughout the property.

Intercom

There are 2 intercoms at the entrance.  Should the phone ring, simply pick up the receiver.  If you wish to open the gate, press the key button which will open the appropriate gate from which the call has been made (either pedestrian or vehicle gate).

 TV

There is a TV and DSTV satellite service for your entertainment which connects to the property’s surround sound system.  I will happily run through the controls with you.

Water & Electricity

Both water and electricity are expensive commodities and whilst these are included in your rental, please be considerate of your usage.   There is a tumble dryer, however, we would encourage you to please line dry your washing where possible and use the tumble dryer sparingly. Also, please switch off unnecessary lights.

Swimming Pool

We have provided coloured towels for the beach and pool area.  Please do not take the towels in the bathroom to these areas. 

Please also bring the sun lounger cushions inside, or secure in a safe area, when not in use as the wind can come up suddenly and they will be blown away.

Laundry

There is a washing machine and tumble dryer provided.  Again, please bear water usage in mind when using the washing machine.

Towels & Linen

Please be vigilant of stains on linen and towels, in particular, self-tanning lotions.  Damaged items, caused by such staining, will be charged for. 

NB Beach towels have been provided.  Please do not remove our white bath towels from the property.

Rubbish Collection

Bins are collected on Tuesdays.  Please put the dustbin outside the main gates on Monday evening as the collection can be early the following morning.

Gardener and Domestic

David, the gardener and Priscilla, our housekeeper, are at the property every Tuesday and Friday.  Please be aware that they will be around the property between 8am and 4pm.  Priscilla is responsible for the cleaning of both the cottage and main house.  We will arrange convenient times with you to have the house cleaned.

Check-out

Check out will be at 10am.  I will be in touch prior to your departure to discuss your requirements.

PLEASE NOTE THAT NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE VILLA AT ANY TIME
