6 Jamaica Beach Guest Information
Welcome to Jamaica Beach and Hout Bay. We want you to have a fabulous holiday, and have listed some useful information below, as well as information about the Jamaica Beach complex.

RUBBISH AND RECYCLING
Please use the clear recycling bags for all recyclable materials. You do not need to split the recycling, however it should be rinsed and not mixed with food wastes. All other rubbish must be put in black bin bags and taken to the rubbish room, which is on the parking level. (as you face the garages, the refuse room is on the far left-hand side). Rubbish bags are not to be left outside the front door, or anywhere on the common property.
COMPLEX RULES
Please be considerate to your neighbours and be aware of the following guidelines:
- No parties please
- Children are to be accompanied at all times and should refrain from running up and down in the common areas. Please be mindful of your neighbours.
- It is requested that noise be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10:30PM and 7AM.
- Security – please be mindful and ensure gates and doors are fully closed before leaving the area.
RESTAURANTS
We are particularly lucky with a wide variety of fabulous restaurants for you to enjoy. A list of restaurant suggestions has also been provided.
TOWELS AND LINEN
Please do not remove the white towels from the apartment. You are welcome to take the coloured towels to the pool or beach. Please also be careful, particularly of self- tanning products. Stains on linen and towels will be charged for.
If you wish to make use of the washing machine, there is a drying line on the garage level, further around from the refuse room.
WATER AND ELECTRICITY
Whilst both are included in your rental, excessive usage will be charged for. Please do not leave lights, etc on when leaving the apartment.
CHECK-OUT
Your check out time on your departure date is at 10AM. I will be in touch prior to this, to confirm your departure details.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE APARTMENT AT ANY TIME
